Dr. Ryan Bouchard serves as our Students Services Coordinator for the Mercile J. Lee Scholars Program within the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Educational Achievement.  Previously, Ryan served as the Senior Associate Dean for Student Life at Beloit College.  Prior to his time at Beloit College, Ryan spent eight years at Edgewood College in a variety of roles including Associate Dean of Students, Asst. Vice President for Student Development, and interim Vice President for  Student Development.  Ryan’s career in student affairs all started back in 2000 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with eight years serving University Housing as a Residence Life Coordinator, Complex Coordinator, and Area Coordinator.  Ryan holds his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Edgewood College, master’s degree in Higher Education & Student Affairs from Indiana University, and his bachelor’s degree in History and Secondary Education from the University of St. Thomas.  Originally from Eau Claire Wisconsin, Ryan has called Wisconsin home his whole life and has now lived in the Madison area for 20 years.  Ryan enjoys being a Dad of three children, coaching multiple youth sports including soccer, basketball, football, and spending time with family and their many pets including dogs, cats, and fish!  Ryan is committed to life-long learning, self-care and advocacy, and is passionate about building an inclusive college community for all students to thrive and be able to live the Wisconsin Idea.
